The Ryder Cup has appointed The Kite Factory to handle media for a campaign promoting the 2027 tournament.
The biennial golfing competition will be played next at Adare Manor in the Republic of Ireland.
The Kite Factory was appointed following a competitive pitch. There was no incumbent as media was previously handled in-house.
Creative for the “Adare to dream” campaign has been provided by Matta and it will run on Sky and Dazn, social media, and outdoor across London, Dublin, Barcelona, New York and Berlin.
Emily Blount, senior brand and marketing manager for Ryder Cup Europe, said: “This is the first time we have created a specific campaign for an upcoming Ryder Cup, but given the 100th anniversary, we felt the time was right to do something special and make sure that being there is on the bucket list for sports fans from around the world. We’re delighted with the campaign and can’t wait to see the results.”
Last week the British Red Cross also appointed The Kite Factory.
Anthony Abou-Zeid, managing partner at The Kite Factory, said: “Our mission is twofold: dial up the theatre that this spectacle offers and drive attendance to what is going to be an unmissable event in Ireland in 2027.
“We’ll be building on the drama of 2025, when Europe held off a ferocious comeback to win 15-13. That kind of finish isn’t just a memory, it’s a launchpad for storytelling, engagement and inspiring the next generation of sports fans.”
