So Gabby how long have you been at TKF and what is your role?
I have been at The Kite Factory for just over 4 years and I am a Senior Account Manager in the client team. Time flies!
Tell us about your typical workday as a Senior Account Manager
Not a single day is the same! I usually start off with a big mug of ginger and cinnamon tea (good for your blood circulation apparently!) and run through the latest client status with my team. Depending on the number of meetings on the day, I would be shuttling between client sets to work on response to media briefs, overseeing media executions, reporting, and speaking with media owners. Also, sitting in the client team means I do a lot of project management to ensure the right resource is pulled from various departments at TKF to suit the clients’ needs.
What’s one of your favourite parts of your role at TKF?
Working with talented and kind people at TKF.
What’s your favourite way to unwind after a busy day?
Most people I work with at TKF know that I love a glass of wine in my own time – a blend from Southern Rhone in particular. Before Covid, I used to join wine tasting sessions in person and I took the plunge to take on WSET courses last year. Not exactly relaxing during the exam preparations but it was well worth it. Seeing friends over a nice meal and playing cards with my son Fraser would always be fun after work too!
How would you best describe TKF in 3 words?
Warm, Fun, Talented
One item you cannot leave your house with and why?
There are lots of items that I cannot my house without but if I have to choose one, it will be my phone which has my life and soul in it sadly. At least I can call my husband if I have left my house keys at home (which is not usual!)!
