So Naomi how long have you been at TKF and what is your role?
I joined The Kite Factory back in January 2020 and was in the office for about 6 weeks before we went into lockdown and started working remotely! I’ve very recently been promoted to Digital Account Manager which I’m very excited about.
Tell us about your typical workday as Digital Account Manager
Every day is a different day! I really enjoy talking to different people and working on varied projects and this is a key part of my role. I usually regroup with my Exec first thing in the morning and take a look at tasks for the day which will include various client calls and meetings to media planning to adhoc projects.
What do you enjoy most about working in the media industry?
It’s a really hardworking but fun industry! It’s also ever-changing, so I learn something new every day which I think is really important.
What’s one of you biggest tips for hybrid working?
My biggest tip for hybrid working is to try to always dedicate time to yourself in the morning before working, whether you go into the office or you’re working from home that day. Going for a walk around the block or doing a quick yoga video really helps set you up better for the day.
Do you have a hidden talent?
Not necessarily a hidden talent but I always tell people that my fun fact is that I’m a lifelong vegetarian!
What has been your favourite memory at TKF?
This is really hard as there are so many to choose from! I’d have to say one of the top memories must be when the digital team all met up after months of lockdowns – it was so lovely to finally see (and meet!) various members of the team and to catch up after such a long time, particularly as I’d only met a handful of people face to face. The team all get on so well, so it was just a really fun evening and so nice to feel part of such a great, supportive team.
