Birch appoints The Kite Factory as media partner

London, 27 February 2020: The Kite Factory has been appointed as the media partner for Birch – a new group of spaces designed by former Managing Director of the Ace Hotel London, to act as urban escapes for members and those staying for a night or weekend.

Birch’s first space, Birch (handle.silk.comet), opens this spring and is just 30 minutes north of London. Within 55 acres of nature sits 140 bedrooms, a growing farm, an interactive bakery, two restaurants in partnership with Robin Gill, three bars, 20 event spaces, a co-working space, fitness studios, a lido, and pottery, screening, music, and art rooms.

Whilst there you can enjoy a full cultural programme of events, workshops, and maker masterclasses, as well as a busy wellness schedule. You’re also encouraged to speak with, and get an impromptu lesson from, the on-site butchers, bakers, and pottery makers.

The Kite Factory has been charged with launching Birch’s proposition and establishing their unique identity across a diverse media mix, immersing audiences with their compelling creative content.

Louise Hudson, Head of Marketing at Birch said: While Birch may look like a hotel, it feels like a festival. Making sure people are aware of this, and everything you can do in one of our spaces, is therefore crucial as we look to challenge many of the hospitality industry’s norms and conventions. We believe The Kite Factory is well placed to help us do this.”

Anthony Abou-Zeid, Business Director at The Kite Factory said: As an independent agency, Birch’s originality appealed to us immensely forcing us to push our creative thinking from the word go. Birch has a great and unique vision with ambitious growth plans and we’re incredibly excited to be a part of their journey as their chosen media partner.”
