MC&C Media is celebrating a run of ten consecutive new business pitch wins that has seen its income for Q1 2018 surpass that of any full year in its history.
This sustained period of success has come about under the watch of newly appointed Managing Director Robin Trust, who took the helm in January.
Trust, who was promoted from the position of Deputy Managing Director, has instigated a number of changes at MC&C, including the appointment of a new Senior Management Board (SMB).
The new business wins include clients such as Unicef’s Soccer Aid, jobs portal Career Builder, animal healthcare provider CEVA, and legal firm Fletchers Solicitors.
The independent agency has brought in new business billings so far in 2018 that already exceed their entire new business income from any preceding year. This comes as the agency reports a doubling of its income in the last three years.
The agency has also been on a recruitment drive, hiring 18 new team members in the last 12 months, taking its total headcount to 78. Among these hires is the business’s first Head of People, while a major re-structure of the Digital Team has seen more talent coming in to provide an enhanced level of every day client service.
MC&C’s newly created Senior Management Board is made up of six key members of the business, from the heads of trading and digital to the heads of financial planning and business management, all of whom are shareholders. Their role is to oversee the operational side of the business, reporting to Trust.
Robin Trust said: “At MC&C we have a hugely dedicated team of talented individuals and specialists and I’m delighted for them that their hard graft is paying off one pitch at a time. This year alone we have not only partnered with a fantastic raft of new clients, all of whom have exciting growth plans, but we have also continued to deliver organic growth for our existing roster of clients.”
