The Kite Factory has promoted head of operations Gabby Krite to the new role of managing partner, operations.

Krite will now take on an expanded remit, which will include oversight of the agency’s ESG agenda alongside more responsibility for operational strategy, governance and scalability. Her responsibility for ESG marks the first time the agency has established formal leadership responsibility for driving this agenda.

Krite will report to chief operations officer Ben Foster in the role. The agency will not be recruiting for Krite’s former role as head of operations.

Commenting on the appointment Foster said: “Gabby’s impact on the business has been exceptional for nearly a decade. She has played a huge role in shaping how we run the agency today embedding new processes, partnering with new technology and onboarding complex new clients. This promotion reflects the value she brings every day and the pivotal role she plays in our future.”

Krite has worked at The Kite Factory for 10 years, having started as a digital planner buyer in 2016.

Since then, she has held various roles in digital account management before being appointed head of operations in June 2024.

Krite said: “The Kite Factory has played a huge role in shaping my career and I’m excited to step into this role to help shape the direction of the agency. We have so many amazing people in this business and I am passionate about making sure they have the structure and environment to thrive in their careers too.”

In October 2025 The Kite Factory appointed new leaders of the agency following the departure of former chief executive James Smith.

Kyle Seeley and Jonathan Leech, the agency’s former chief operating and chief commercial officers, took on the role as co-CEOs.
