Animal shelter charity Wood Green has appointed The Kite Factory to launch their Legacy fundraising marketing programme over the next two years.
As featured in Channel 4’s highly acclaimed show The Dog House, Wood Green’s mission is to bring people and pets closer together by not only providing care for pets in need, but educating owners to become the best they can be.
With the Legacy market looking to double to £5.16 billion by 2050*, The Kite Factory has been tasked with developing Wood Green’s first Legacy programme which will launch after Easter.
Using their extensive expertise in running similar programmes for both large and small UK and International charity organisations, the agency is tasked with getting under the skin of the charity’s donors and potential donors to understand their motivations for considering a charitable bequest.
The Kite Factory has been working with Wood Green on their DRTV and digital fundraising advertising, as well as advising their digital customer journeys since last summer.
Rob Watt, Managing Partner at The Kite Factory said: “We are proud to work with Wood Green who are leaders amongst animal charities and where all donations generated will help make a tangible difference to vulnerable pets in need of care.”
Jensen Calleemootoo, Senior Development Manager, Legacy Marketing at Wood Green said: “I’m really looking forward to working closely with The Kite Factory. Their extensive experience in running Legacy marketing campaigns and innovation thinking made them a natural choice”
