Dementia UK

Transforming Existing Content into YouTube Cutdowns

Dementia UK needed fresh YouTube content to sustain engagement while minimising production costs. The challenge was to keep creative assets engaging, optimised for YouTube’s unique user behaviour, and aligned with the organisation’s broader messaging.

What we did

We converted long-form video assets into transcripts to pinpoint the most compelling messaging and structure a concise narrative. By leveraging AI-powered attention analysis, we identified frames that would maintain high audience engagement, ensuring that every second counted.

What we did

The selected footage was then adapted into bite-sized 6-second and 15-second cutdowns, each carefully crafted to introduce Dementia UK in a compelling and digestible manner. This approach maximised efficiency while ensuring content remained fresh, engaging, and impactful.

We efficiently repurposed three full-length assets into engaging YouTube cutdowns, saving both time and production costs. The 6-second cutdowns achieved a 94% video completion rate (VTR), significantly exceeding platform benchmarks of 90% and introducing Dementia UK to 760k new users and potential guide downloaders.

This campaign showcased how strategic content transformation can breathe new life into existing assets, driving efficiency and maximising audience engagement.
